I was pleased to see one inspired by one of my favorite woodblock prints of Mt. Fuji by Katsushika Hokusai.
Oh my gosh, these are extraordinary. This would be difficult to do on paper let alone in a field of rice.

Wow! I can’t even imagine the planning that goes into these… but then again, I’m not a planner. 🙂 I like the Mt. Fuji one you posted, Craig, but I think that my favorite is the two Japanese oni on either side of the road. They’re fun!
