Not too much color in the landscape as the light continues to retreat. But the bittersweet does provide a smudge of orange that glows as you approach it in the late afternoon. (Apologies for the PaintShopPro ‘jaggies’.) Better consider this my bloom day post for December. Will try to get back to the scans in January.

Sometimes my shortsightedness amazes me. I love seeing those branches in arrangements through the fall… but I never thought to actually plant some for my own garden enjoyment. That’s a beautiful addition to the garden, Craig.
