Winter is finally supposed to hit tonight. (Low’s ~10F, 6 to 10 inches of snow, high ~15F tomorrow.) But New Year’s was sunny and pushing 50F. I even harvested a little lettuce.
Pulmonaria is still green (mostly).
Bittersweet wreath by the driveway.
The stiff breezes got the seedheads all pointing the same way.
These are from the weekend before Christmas when we had a little winter preview.
Your grasses are just beautiful…and I admit…I’m a little jealous of your show 🙂
Great pics! I loved this one best: 20120101water_gardenx2400.jpg The lighting was perfect, wasn’t it?! And I love the blue bottles in the last one; so pretty.
Love the frosted blue bottles. We are to get our first real taste of winter here tonight as well, though considerably warmer than your 10 degrees. It needs to happen as the plants are confused, and a little cold may help them reset their clocks.
beautiful. the backdrop of mountains is always nice to see but it looks even prettier with the frostiness!!
I love the grasses! Thanks so much for taking the time to post these photos. These would make great artwork!
Man you are so talented that it’s almost annoying. And thanks for the Rolling Stones. Love may they live.
Long.
