First flowers

A little later than last year. But with the snow disappearing quickly, the first eranthis blooms mark the beginning of the gardening season. With temps expected over 50F today, we might even have some snowdrops and hellebores to go along with them. i can almost smell the dirt:) we got ripped off (no snow) this year. if we’re not going to have a decent winter, bring on the spring!!!!

The first flowers of spring are so special. It is like seeing that special friend that you are so connected to after being years apart, and it is like you just parted moments ago.
