Jade and Fred have 25 years between them. But they were acting like puppies in the melting drifts (still 3 to 4 feet deep in places) this weekend. (Click on images for larger views.)

It is good to see that Fred is romping. I love to see dogs romping around enjoying themselves from nose to tail.
it’s been a great winter for dogs… happy to see them doing well and enjoying the snow! we’ve reached mud season here in baltimore area. even saw a honey bee this weekend.

Seems i always comment to one of your music posts (maybe a Randy Newman comment way back?) so to mix things up I must say that seeing your dogs frolic in the snow is a very cheerful sight. And astonishing to see the chairs buried up to their arms — astonishing for a zone 10er anyway.
