We’ve had a handful of sunny days with temps 10 to 20 degrees above normal (broke 60 today!), making for an unusually pleasant mid-March.

Oh you lucky dog. You have bees already. Ihaven’t seen a bee in our garden as yet.
Very lovely. I’m getting bees this year and I’m looking for a few things to plant for them for this time of year.
Every time I venture outside I hear the buzzing of the many bees in the holly trees!

Gorgeous photos! I followed a link over here from a comment on Garden Rant, and I will be back. This is my first spring in Louisiana after a lifetime in western New York and northern New England….and I must admit it lacks a little bit of the thrill. Not that I’m complaining or anything, but the first spring shoots don’t have the same miraculous impact when some things have been growing all winter long!
