I always chuckle when I read that keeping dogs deters deer. I think this one knows exactly where the invisible fence ends and knows Jade is never going to cross it.

O’ damned invisible fence!
That’s a great shot! Smart deer. Poor Jade! Buddy will be the same but with the durned rodents he loves to chase. He’s really getting the fence, and the man says in about 2 more days we’re turning on the juice and moving up to the “distractions on the other side of the fence” phase…I dread it, but it will be so good for him to get off the long rope once and for all.
