More crocus, scilla, first corydalis

The on-going march of spring ephemerals. And on a phenological note, I forgot the mention that the spring peepers made their first audio appearance last Sunday night.

Happy crocus continue to multiply in my poor excuse for a rock garden.

  1. I really love corydalis, and especially the blues, but none live for me except the yellow (and of those, there are hundreds). Still I keep trying. If this is the straight-up species it may be the same one Marla Palmiter has at the nursery, growing in a mass under a big tree, gorgeous. Some year I will convince her to let me have just one!
