Tonight’s dinner-time entertainment was DVR of Saturday’s Austin City Limits with Jacob Dylan and Carrie Rodriguez. Made me realize that one of my big regrets in life was not going to see her when she played at Castaways.

Vintage dance
I’m a sucker for videos that couple vintage dance with more modern music. (See this post of video coupling Russian soldiers with Run DMC.) Now I see that I’ve only hit the tip of the iceberg. I think they call this the Charleston.

Boston-based Jewell gets major airplay on our local folky radio shows, and plays at the Finger Lakes Grassroots festival.
