When I listened to Rev. Lowry’s inaugural benedition, I thought the words sounded familiar.

I actually saw this live on the TV machine this afternoon. (Made me a little verklempt to see old Pete up there on the steps of the Lincoln Memorial.) But it wasn’t until I saw this dairy at the top of the DailyKos recommended list that I realized that he had restored the lost versus this Woody Guthrie classic.
Is it dark and cold where you are? Well it could be worse. You could live in Helsinki.
If nothing else, globalization has taught us that we are more alike than different.
Lyrics and subject matter would probably get a PG-13 rating.
