Fred demands equal treatment, what with Jade making the banner image and all.
In my day job, I work as a communications specialist in the Department of Horticulture at Cornell University. I have a freelance job working on The Bulb Project website. More gardeners than I can remember have given me plants and freely shared their wisdom. I try to do the same.

I love seeing that brilliant yelllow color in the garden this time of the year. Good luck.
The competition just got tougher.
I’d say they’re just about perfect for “awakenings.” Good luck!
The photo is wonderful! I’d love to see the others.
Raising their sleepy heads and clambering out of bed. Very nice photo.
Craig, that is an absolutely stunning photo! Did you get down on your belly on the ground to take it? I love the vivid color and the droplets of water – good luck!
Thanks for the kind words, all.
Kim: This time of the year, taking photos means muddy knees, muddy elbows — and yes in this case — muddy chest.
Nice shot. I like the contrast of the yellow and green.
Craig, you went with the right one! Congratulations on the winning shot. I guess those muddy knees, elbows and chest were worth it, huh? Congratulations again – your photo definitely deserved to win!
Craig, congratulations on your win. It is well deserved.~~Dee
Congratulations! I turned the computer around to show my husband the winning photo and even he, biased as he is, said, “Yes, that’s very good.” I love your photo, congratulations again.
Nicely done! Congratulations!
