I have actually told this tale in a very abbreviated form all spring because we have carried ‘Mortgage Lifter’ tomatoes in our veggie section at the greenhouse. One thing I couldn’t answer, though… how do they taste? Have you ever grown them?
No, I’ve never tasted them. But at a buck a plant back in the day, they must be pretty good.
