Some have gardening themes:<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/vintagraph.com\/index.php?showimage=155\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/vintagraph.com\/images\/20090225215653_3g07931u_500.jpg\" alt=\"Pooster via vintagraph\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The same folks (I think) also put out <a href=\"http:\/\/www.shorpy.com\/\">Shorpy<\/a>, which features mostly black and white photos, mostly Civil War to &#8217;50s, mostly from the Library of Congress, like the one below from the USDA amaryllis show in 1927.  (Garden-related photos are few and far between, but I like this tilt-shifty <a href=\"http:\/\/www.shorpy.com\/node\/3428\">girl with a crow<\/a>, this <a href=\"http:\/\/www.shorpy.com\/node\/4782\">opera singer with greenhouse cukes<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.shorpy.com\/node\/4335\">hoeing beets<\/a>.)<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.shorpy.com\/node\/3454\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.shorpy.com\/files\/images\/16680u.preview.jpg\" alt=\"amaryllis show via Shorpy\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/greayer.com\/studiog\/\">Studio g<\/a> is a relatively recent discovery for me.  Anyone into design will find something to like here.  The picture below of an early school garden isn&#8217;t typical of Rocelle&#8217;s content, which more closely resembles Garden Design than Shorpy. I&#8217;m just a sucker for old pictures.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/greayer.com\/studiog\/?p=880\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/greayer.com\/studiog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/02\/3300795327_da7815b214_o.jpg\" alt=\"old school garden\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>If you want really old stuff,  check out the &#8216;Visual <em>Materia Obscura<\/em>&#8216; and more at <a href=\"http:\/\/bibliodyssey.blogspot.com\/\"> BiblioOdyssey<\/a>.  Again, the topics are a wide-ranging blend, focusing mostly on science, history and eclectic bookart.  But if you want to go right to the good stuff, visit the posts helpfully tagged <a href=\"http:\/\/delicious.com\/BibliOdyssey\/flora\">flora<\/a>. My French is no longer strong enough to translate the words.
