{"id":471,"date":"2008-09-16T16:11:05","date_gmt":"2008-09-16T23:11:05","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.remarc.com\/craig\/?p=471"},"modified":"2008-09-16T17:09:05","modified_gmt":"2008-09-17T00:09:05","slug":"new-sod-sculpture-at-bluegrass-lane","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ellishollow.remarc.com\/?p=471","title":{"rendered":"New sod sculpture at Bluegrass Lane"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>This afternoon, Marcia Eames-Sheavly&#8217;s <a href=\"http:\/\/www.hort.cornell.edu\/art\/\">Art of Horticulture<\/a> class (with a big assist from turf specialist <a href=\"http:\/\/hort.cals.cornell.edu\/cals\/hort\/people\/faculty.cfm?netId=fsr3\">Frank Rossi<\/a>) created a second sod sculpture at Cornell&#8217;s Bluegrass Lane Landscape Research Facility, adjacent to the Cornell campus and the <a href=\"http:\/\/bigred2.athletics.cornell.edu\/golf\/facilities.htm\">Robert Trent Jones Golf Course<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"images\/4131x1200.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"images\/4131x500.jpg\" alt=\"sod sculpture\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Now golfers heading down the 8th fairway are greeted by this surrealistic work just off the course grounds.
