But I have fun trying.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"images\/bl_grasse_vertx1200.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"backlight\" src=\"images\/bl_grasse_vertx500.jpg\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><em>Napaea dioica<\/em> (Glade Mallow) &#8211; another tall (6-foot or more) plant.  Great palmate leaves.<br \/>\n<a href=\"images\/bl_napeaex1200.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"backlight\" src=\"images\/bl_napeaex500.jpg\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Borage<br \/>\n<a href=\"images\/bl_boragex1200.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"backlight\" src=\"images\/bl_boragex500.jpg\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>An interesting effect, er flaw.<br \/>\n<a href=\"images\/bl_borage_rainbowx1200.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"backlight\" src=\"images\/bl_borage_rainbowx500.jpg\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>When looking for good backlit subjects, I always remind myself to put the sun at my back and take a different look at the subject.<br \/>\n<a href=\"images\/bl_borage_frontx1200.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"backlight\" src=\"images\/bl_borage_frontx500.jpg\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Back to the grass.<br \/>\n<a href=\"images\/bl_grassex1200.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"backlight\" src=\"images\/bl_grassex500.jpg\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>One of the things I like about this time of the year is that I can come home from work, eat a little supper, then pick up the camera and go outside and the light is just about right for picture-taking.
