{"id":371,"date":"2008-04-23T17:41:37","date_gmt":"2008-04-24T00:41:37","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.remarc.com\/craig\/?p=371"},"modified":"2008-04-23T17:41:37","modified_gmt":"2008-04-24T00:41:37","slug":"hyper-spring-lotsa-pix","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ellishollow.remarc.com\/?p=371","title":{"rendered":"Hyper-Spring (lotsa pix)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a HREF=\"images\/scilla_sibericax1200.jpg\"><img ALT=\"scilla siberica\" SRC=\"images\/scilla_sibericax500.jpg\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The last week we&#8217;ve had temps 10 to 20 degrees above normal &#8212; the best April weather I&#8217;ve seen for a long time if you&#8217;re one of the sun-starved students on campus or a sunbather.<\/p>\n<p>But for gardeners, it&#8217;s turned the season into hyper-spring.  Everything is flowering all at once.  Where we usually drift outside in the cold April rain to watch the slow progress of bulbs and the swelling buds on flowering trees and shurbs, suddenly everything racing past us in one big blur.<\/p>\n<p>Unfortunately, I&#8217;ve had very little time to spend outside gardening due to work and home commitments.
