Today&#8217;s NY Times has <a HREF=\"http:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/2007\/07\/07\/arts\/design\/07frid.html?ex=1341547200&amp;en=4c3c3b135ba564aa&amp;ei=5124&amp;partner=permalink&amp;exprod=permalink\">an article<\/a> and <a HREF=\"http:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/slideshow\/2007\/07\/06\/arts\/20070707_KAHLO_SLIDESHOW_index.htm\">multimedia feature<\/a> about a huge show featuring her work at the Palacio de Bellas Artes in Mexico City.<\/p>\n<p>While Frida&#8217;s painful self-portraits fascinate me, I like to think that it was on her good days that she turned to plants as the subject of her work.<\/p>\n<p>See, for example, <a HREF=\"images\/Still_Life_Parrot.jpg\">Still Life with Parrot<\/a>.
