They&#8217;re interesting but rather plain until you <a href=\"images\/nectox1000.jpg\">look at them closely<\/a>.  Then they&#8217;re pretty wild.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"images\/nectox1000.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"images\/nectox500.jpg\" alt=\"nectoscordum close up\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>First peony I ever grew from seed.  Possibly a <em>P. tenufolia<\/em>?  Wrenched my back taking this shot.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"images\/paeonia_tenufoliax1200.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"images\/paeonia_tenufoliax500.jpg\" alt=\"peony\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Form and texture out front.  Tradescantia, umbrella plant, siberian iris, columbine, evening primrose, and more.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"images\/front_texturex1200.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"images\/front_texturex250.jpg\" alt=\"front garden\" align=\"top\" \/><\/a><a href=\"images\/paeonia_tenufolia1x1200.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"images\/paeonia_tenufolia1x250.jpg\" alt=\"peony\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>A polite euphorbia that I got from my friend Mary.  I went back and looked it up.  Pretty sure it&#8217;s <em>Euphorbia griffithii<\/em> &#8216;Fireglow&#8217;.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"images\/euphorbia_flowerx1200.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"images\/euphorbia_flowerx500.jpg\" alt=\"euphorbia\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>I like the stems and leaves of the euphorbia as much as the flowers.  Nectoscordum with fading allium in background.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"images\/euphorbia_leafx500.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"images\/euphorbia_leafx250.jpg\" alt=\"euphorbia\" align=\"top\" \/><\/a><a href=\"images\/necto_alliumcx1200.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"images\/necto_alliumcx250.jpg\" alt=\"nectoscordum\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Asian primrose, though the name escapes me now.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"images\/sakurosax1200.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"images\/sakurosax500.jpg\" alt=\"sakurosa primrose\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Peonies ready to pop.
