A couple weeks ago, I picked up a monopod for $15 at a big box store. I finally hauled it out the other day and I have to say that it makes a huge difference. I get much less shake under low light/long exposures.

Beautifully photographed.
I am completely jealous. I tried to grow those “honeybells” for 2-3 years (okay, maybe even 4) with NO luck whatsoever. I’m glad (and sad!) that you showed their gorgeous color detail in these photos, Craig. 🙂
Kim: My friend and garden-blogging buddy Lynn (Sin City to Slaterville) just down the road lost all the ones she planted last fall. And I don’t know what to suggest. I’ve got some growing in a very sunny, well-drained to dry bed. And I’ve got some growing in a part shade, heavy, wet soil area. They’re holding their own — neither declining nor going gangbusters — in both spots.
