Hot weather makes me crave reggae. My first exposure to this classic was Penn’s ’94 single that I found on a cheap reggae compilation CD, nowhere to be found online. This is her ’60s original, but there are dozens of remixes out there as well as a decent live version and a cover by Rihanna. If memory serves, it’s actually a cover of a ’50s R&B hit.
