1. As you say, a little zydeco any day of the week is good but that got me teary-eyed. All summer I was afraid to hope and now I’m getting ready for a potential Obama landslide. I live in a Democratic city in a Democratic county in a state (WI) that veers back and forth wildly but it appears that McCain has pulled out and I believe the state will go to Obama. For the first time in their history, the three major papers in the state all endorsed the same man — Obama — for president.

   On another note, the campus pix and the frosty morn were lovely. We are heading for a frost here in the city but today my toad lilies are still going strong. The fothergila has turned but the paperbark maple hasn’t even started.

2. Loved it! Used to do lots of that dancing myself and I MISS IT.
   But more importantly, our guy is transformative@! Landslide? Bring ‘er on!!
