  1. I quite agree that this anemones are gorgeous. I have some this year. These are the first I have been successful in growing. I have tried them in several places in the garden but they took in this particular spot.

  2. Thanks all for the kind words. I think it takes anemones a couple years to settle in. (And in my case, to not pull them out thinking they’re weeds.) But they’re worth the wait.

  3. Thanks for more pics of these beauties! They’re my fall favorite, too. I hope that mine do well enough in the coming year to flower next fall. I’ve got some out in the sun and some in part shade, so we’ll see what they like. If they fail, I’ll always have Cornell’s!

    These were so easy to grow back in Kentucky…oh me, still, after nine years, having a hard time making peace with Zone 8b or whatever this inferno may be called by USDA.

    I make do with ranunculus in the spring but these windflowers are much missed. I like how one of your photos captures their leaning.
