Peony bud pix in Seattle PI?

I was contacted yesterday by the Seattle Post-Intelligencer about using one of my peony bud shots from this recent post to accompany their 6/11 article, The Grounded Gardener: Gray, yes, but there are bright spots.

I was disappointed that the image did not appear in the web version. If you saw the hard copy, could you let me know which image they used from my post?

It might also have been one from this earlier post.

  1. can’t help you with the paper, but once again you’ve helped me. I missed that post & so am happy I got to see them, but even happier to get introduced to Nectoscordum–wow! clearly i need to dive into the bulb world. Thanks and hope you find a hard copy to keep 🙂

  2. Very cool–congratulations! Can you contact the people who asked you for permission and see if they’ll send you a couple of copies of the paper to keep? If you didn’t charge them for it, especially, they are usually pretty amenable to those sorts of things.
