Mostly small stuff from outside fleshed out with some florists cyclamen from the kitchen windowsill. Larger view [700K].
And this abstract work I call Cleaning the platen.

Let’s see… I think I prefer the first one. Looks like you and I have very similar hellebores in bloom. And I’m determined to plant some snowdrops in the fall, though mine would all be done blooming by mid-April, here in beautiful zone 5b.
Thanks for joining in.

What a lovely way to show April’s blooms in one shot…very artistic.
Well done. The color palette is so very soothing and the flower forms are exquisite.

Heh. I’m still grinning at your abstract. However did you come up with the clever name? 😉
I really think you’re getting more and more skilled with these scans, Craig–and I’ve liked them all along anyway. I like the light and dark you see when you lean back from the computer and squint with one eye.
Ellis: Both works of art! I am going to have to make a bloom day scan. The Garden Club loved the ones I showed them previously. You have inspired! Sorry you don’t use your front door. Paint it red and use it in the summer. It is such a lovely walkway. Another option, build and entry way. I really have only one main door so it must be used!
I’d say Happy Blooming Day, Craig, but that doesn’t seem appropriate for this moody composition – who knew Spring could be so Goth?
All of you are making me crave Hellebores.

Very cool…”goth” flowers…heh. And I kinda like “cleaning the platen”…you could probably sell it as some sort of modern, techno piece.
