  1. Let’s see… I think I prefer the first one. Looks like you and I have very similar hellebores in bloom. And I’m determined to plant some snowdrops in the fall, though mine would all be done blooming by mid-April, here in beautiful zone 5b.

    Thanks for joining in.

  3. Heh. I’m still grinning at your abstract. However did you come up with the clever name? 😉

I really think you’re getting more and more skilled with these scans, Craig–and I’ve liked them all along anyway. I like the light and dark you see when you lean back from the computer and squint with one eye.

  4. Ellis: Both works of art! I am going to have to make a bloom day scan. The Garden Club loved the ones I showed them previously. You have inspired! Sorry you don’t use your front door. Paint it red and use it in the summer. It is such a lovely walkway. Another option, build and entry way. I really have only one main door so it must be used!

  5. I’d say Happy Blooming Day, Craig, but that doesn’t seem appropriate for this moody composition – who knew Spring could be so Goth?

All of you are making me crave Hellebores.

  6. Very cool…”goth” flowers…heh. And I kinda like “cleaning the platen”…you could probably sell it as some sort of modern, techno piece.
