After rain

Some heavy showers this weekend and lots of dark, gray weather. Interesting light effects on some plants that are peaking now.  Click images for larger view.

  1. Do you know the song After Rain by Oysterband? Now I’ve got it running thru my mind after reading your post. I envy your rain, AND your ‘Joe White’ Eupatorium.

  2. I’m with Entangled, I’m envious of your rain and the ‘Joe White’. It says that it can go up to a zone 8, so maybe it’s something that I need to try. Since my place is on stilts, I’m always drawn to plans with some height to them – plus, it’s blooming now, that’s nice too.

They’re calling for a decent chance of rain here tomorrow.

  3. I love that ‘Heavy Metal’! I have heard that those are more prone to flopping than most other panicums, but your picture says otherwise. Lovely. The rattlesnake master is cool, too.
