Ellis: Very funny! Where do they come up with this stuff? Oh, that would be real life, right! Still LOL! Thanks, L
I record Colbert on the DVR, but usually run a few days behind viewing the shows. I saw this clip embedded on DailyKos even though I haven’t seen the whole show yet.
I love this guy – I missed this one, so glad I got to see it here. He’s from the Charleston area – comes into town pretty regularly, was at a local baseball game recently, where he threw out the ‘ball’ which was really his new Ben and Jerry’s ice cream flavor (released in a limited market I think). There’s a group here locally, from the College of Charleston, that have started a website ‘Femists for Colbert’ (http://www.feministsforcolbert.blogspot.com/) – its pretty funny. I’m hoping one day that they get on his show.
I’m another HUGE Colbert fan and that’s a great segment.

I can see why some people wouldn’t like Colbert. But I think he’s a genius. His roast of Bush at the 2006 White House Correspondents Dinner is a classic: http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-869183917758574879
