Here’s my entry in this month’s Picture This contest. Was wandering around Sunday morning looking for backlighting opportunities. This camassia beckoned, though not for backlighting.

Really perfect lighting. I can see the texture of the pollen and the petals look like satin. Lovely, lovely! You are a talented photographer.
Those anthers just pop up off the petals and background. Delightful, like ice cream cones on a warm summer evening. Or morning.
