Sunday walk-around

Drizzly Sunday morning. Good weather for some somewhat-soft shots of what’s going on around the garden these days.

I tend to take the asters that grow in the ‘unmanaged’ areas for granted. But occasionally I spot one that’s ‘garden-worthy’.

The bed where I have all my colchicums (from Cold-Climate Kathy and other places) has filled in a lot. I’ll rationalize that I like them better when you have to look for them, rather them coming up ‘nude’ with nothing by mulch around them.

The veggie garden border, still my favorite — what with the grasses and the bottles.

And I’ve forgotten genus and species on this one. It’s still cheery.

  1. Je reviens avec la saison automnale, comme les miscanthus et autres graminĂ©es…
Tes photos sont toujours aussi belles et ton massif avec ses jolies bouteilles bleues est merveilleux….
    Bon automne Greg

  2. I love it when I come across plants I had forgotten I had planted. It seems to be most common with bulbs, like your cyclamen. Great pictures as usual.
