Here’s my entry in this month’s Picture This contest. Was wandering around Sunday morning looking for backlighting opportunities. This camassia beckoned, though not for backlighting.

Some month old pix that I never had a chance to post, from Nina Bassuk and Peter Trowbridge’s annual daffodil celebration.
Pulmonaria, muscari
Busy spring. Time to get some pix that have been sitting in the camera or the jump drive for a few weeks. This pulmonaria’s foliage is butt-ugly. But it’s got the nicest flowers of any I’ve grown. Especially good with the muscari that have jumped in.
Belated May bloom day scans
Sorry these are late. Busy spring. And it’s not like I’ve been spending a lot of time in the garden, either. Can barely stay ahead of the grass, much less the weeds. Oh well.

Leucojum vernum and thalia daffs
Dicentra spectabilis complete with water and pollen, which is pretty much what this spring has been about.
